Over 70% of Uganda’s populations are young people below 35 years. These suffer the most pressing challenges in health, economic and digital rights that require youth friendly approaches to be addressed. We have a dedicated program made up and run by young people below 25 years that focus on advancing and advocating for youth health, economic and digital rights. Areas of focus include universal access to internet and digital rights, health including, UHC, sexual reproductive health rights, economic empowerment and strategic partnerships with other youth led and youth focused organizations at community, national, regional and global levels. Our work under this program is centered around three thematic areas: Health and Health Determinants; Digital Rights and Economic Rights and empowerment for youths. Under Health, our focus is on; Sexual reproductive health, rights and choice; Mental health; Nutrition; Universal Health coverage; Health Systems Strengthening; Health Financing; Non-Communicable Diseases and Digital health. Our work on health determinants is focused on; Education; Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH); Climate change and environment and Gender and social norms. Our Economic Rights and Empowerment work is focused on; Agriculture and Food security; Land rights; Skills development and Financial support and literacy services. Our digital rights work is focused on Digital access; Internet, data governance, freedom and safety and Digital literacy.
