SAGAREE JAIN

Sagaree Jain (they/them) is a writer, researcher, non profit worker, and poet from the Silicon Valley. They graduated with a degree in History and a minor in English from the University of California at Berkeley. They are currently an MPH student at Berkeley and work as a Graduate Student Researcher at the Othering and Belonging Institute in the USA. Sagaree served as a John Gardner Fellow at Human Rights Watch, researching best practices in human rights interviewing and rights violations in HIV service delivery in Malaysia. She was also Global Health Corps fellow in Uganda, supporting research on health equity . In their free time, they perform poetry, practice yoga, and watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer. They live in Oakland.
