Health Information

RAFO aims to bring health information closer to rural venerable communities. RAFO employees the community based approach by working with community structures to identify health gaps, health information gaps and then carry out research for such information and avail it to the rural community in the local languages.

The established community health structures work with our Health information and updates officer to translate this information into local language and then organize community meetings to disseminate it to the rural communities.

This information is also stored on the website for access by other agencies working on health issues like local CBOs. Our team carries u research in areas of HIV/AIDs and TB, Non communicable diseases, Reproductive health, emergency disease like Ebola, Reproductive Sexual health rights, SGBV/GBV, MCHN, Maternal health, Sexual minorities and other health underlying factors. RAFO gets such information by keeping abreast with current health issues at national, regional and international level through conferences and attending international conventions and health policy analysis.
