Frank is a global Common Wealth Scholarship holder pursuing a masters in Public Health/MPH (Global Health) at the University of Manchester, UK. He is was a Global Health Corps fellow (2018/2019) as well as a deputy president Uganda, Global Health Corps Alumni Community-part of the global health movement promoting health equity and social justice.He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from Makerere University, the oldest University in Uganda. He also holds a post graduate diploma in project monitoring and Evaluation from Uganda Management Institute. He holds a number of certificates including project management, Data management for Monitoring and Evaluation, Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA), Basic security in the field from the United Nations High commissioner for refugees (UNHCR) on line platform. He has been a leader throughout his early life.
He served as a representative for the school of Engineering in 2013 and then as a gender affairs minister in 2014. He is remembered for promoting social justice when he organized the most attended symposium on gender discrimination, sexual harassment and HIV prevention among University Students in 2014. He served as a representative at the Great Lakes students’ Union for Makerere University for two years.
Frank has over five years’ experience serving refugees, asylum seekers, vulnerable rural communities and persons affected by conflict in areas of data management, project planning and management, protection, community services, ICT for development, monitoring and evaluation for development programs, health and nutrition programs and projects. Frank is passionate about sexual reproductive rights, health and the environment. He also holds a young leaders forum certificate from Frederick Ebert Stiftung.
